My 9 month old German Shepherd, won’t stop coming to us for attention. She gets SO much love, and exercise, but in the evenings when we are sitting and watching tv or talking, she always comes up and starts chewing a ball on our leg until we give in, and it can hurt cause she is trying to chew the ball but it ends up chewing our leg. Other question would be how not to beg…? Thanks!

well my family wants to buy a dog that is potty trained. does anyone know where to get one in california.

im wanna buy a german shepherd and i live in a small appartment but im gonna walk him and play with him so can anyone give me some ideas on how to potty train him cuz i dont want him to piss and poo all over the place and how much time would it take for a german shepherd to be well potty trained?

when he bites he bites really hard and he is literally hanging off my hand foot or clothes. i try saying NO ditrcting him with a toy or holding his mouth shut and pinnin him to the floor but this doesnt work it just mkaes him more agressive after.is this normal because i am really worried this s signs of agression as he growls too. please help!

We got this two year old male German Shepherd and we’re planning on taking him to training classes but don’t have money yet. Here are some of our issues maybe somebody can give us some tips on training him that has experience with GS.

Obey in general and get the control over him as his owners?
Licking? We can’t use the nasty tasting stuff so is there any other tips?
Getting him to “Go to his place”
Shake?

I have a Pomeranian who is about 9 months old and I cant break her of her habit of going indoors to use the bathroom. I try to take her out frequently before work, after work, later on in the evening and whenever she looks like she has to go. I also have another dog that I walk with her and the other dog is potty trained so I praise the other dog for going while the pom can see and hope that she’ll pick up that its good behavior. She doesn’t.

So then I tried taking them out separately because I thought she might be distracted to walk with the other dog which still doesn’t work.

It’s frustrating because I continually have to clean the floors and carpets with out carpet cleaner because I can’t get her to learn to go outside. Sometimes I take her on a walk for over an hour and she won’t go. Then as soon as we get home or a few minutes later she’ll go and its really annoying.

If anyone has any solutions please let me know. I cant put her in a cage because she’ll whine a lot and I live in an APT so I think I’d get yelled at having her whine all day.

We give her lots of chew toys and we try not to put our hands on her head when she’s hyper, but she is ripping our clothing and skin.

so is the point of using the crate so the puppy will hold it untill you take him out and then in the end will get the point not to go inside
OH i will crate train my puppy now i thought it meant leave the dog in there all day and only take it out for potty but 1more question
when its in the crate at night how many times do i have to take it outside
