I have a Chihuahua puppy that measures 7 1/2 inches from his collar to the base of his tail, 7 1/2 inches around his neck, and 9 inches around his chest. I can’t find anything small enough (except for socks we cut holes in) so I want to make him some clothes he can keep warm in! any body know? i want to make pj’s, a few diffrent jackets (i have extra jean material), and some tee’s. any thing warm and insulating i have sweats im willing to part with to make him a hoodie too.
im not interested in entertaining myself (i have better things to do) my puppy is 7 weeks old and a chihuahua! he shivers and shakes if hes cold! now if you have a dog like mine and prefer to watch them suffer thats on you guys! but all im asking is for some free patterns i can look at so i can make Ricky some stuff to keep him warm. my house is old and very drafty. thanks for any help!

Go to walmart. Patterns aren’t that expensive, about $5-7 and reusable. I have patterns for dresses, shirts, and harnesses that I have purchased, and sew out for my little darlings.
They aren’t going to have a pattern quite that small, but you can trace it, and then alter it smaller to fit. I’ve done that with most of my patterns, as the baby only weighs 3 lbs, and she’s now 11 months old. You can imagine how tiny she was 9 months ago!
Usually you can pick cheap fabrics up from the store and just put it together into something but try e-bay
That’s what fur is for. Dressing up your dog is NOT what they want. Maybe for potty walks or exercise in cold weather, but for day to day, you need to let your dog be a dog.
My mom is starting to make and sell clothes for chi’s, she could’t find anything for her’s either. If you want to talk to her about it, email me and I’ll give ya her number.

I also have a chihuahua. He is 3 years old and I buy his clothes at Walmart and Pet Smart. I have bought him a sweater on the internet. I don’t suggest this cause it is very expensive. If your looking for fabric you could try thrift stores. I have a jacket for my dog but he can’t go outside even with the jacket because its just to cold.
