I have never dressed my dogs, but one of my close friend’s does. What do you think?
Sure why not they look cute!!!
that’s a ***** move.
don’t do it.
i don’t really see the point.
Yes, it’s cute when you are a kid. When you are an adult it’s a little bit weird. Although I have to admit that some of the outfits people put on their dogs are adorable. But I sure do pity the dog.
it might be cute once, but if someone constantly dresses their dog i think it would be stupid.
if theyre little dogs yeah but only if it looks right and its in their house. otherwise i think its just to get attention.
As long as they match why not, dont forget also they sale doggy shoes and jewerly
I feel so sorry for her dogs.
i think it fine but if the dog goes against it dont force it to do it.
sure its okay if you want to waste your money on clothing your dog, especially if you are a mother with four kids trying to clothe them.
Sure it is. Does your Mom still dress you?

I have a whippet who has very thin skin and short hair. I bought her a “flannel coat” for her winter “business” walks, but I think fashion clothing in general is for the birds! LOL
Yeah go ahead. I think the dogs look really cute when they are dressed up in clothes. Plus there is some shoes that the dogs can wear when it is raining or snowing.
I don’t dress mine. They already wear nice fur coats of their own.
Besides they are dachshunds and would snub me if I tried!
I think it’s pointless, just a ploy for attention and / or a plot to get people’s money. Save the cash and donate it to a local shelter. For dogs who have no homes, much less clothing…
It’s retarded! There’s got be a better way to spend your time and money. Most dogs HATE it!! What an indignity! Generally people who dress animals have problems. They want babies or someone to dote on but pets are better because they don’t grow up and rebel. SICK!
In the winter, some dogs need clothes. Single coated dogs often have coats similar to human hair (which doesn’t keep them very warm), so they need a jacket or something to help, especially in snowy climates.
Overall, I don’t mind. If the dog doesn’t mind, why should I?
For dignity’s sake… please dont!
NO way.It ridicules them. When I move,Im going to have to dress them, but only because its cold.We have to put little shoes on them so their feet don’t freeze.Other than for safety, dog clothes are ridiculous. It doesn’t matter if theyre cute,it just makes fun of dogs. Its horrible.
If your dog likes being dressed up, then do it! There is nothing wrong with dressing up your dog, but a lot of them don’t like to wear clothes, and that is when it becomes wrong.
A lot of smaller dogs, and hairless dogs have to wear clothes whether or not they like them, becuase it is vital to their health, to stay warm because their body does not keep them warm. Also, its important to protect their skin from the sun, and their owners use clothes for that as well.
My yorkie loves clothes, and I know a lot of dogs that do! My Wobie comes to me at night for him to get his teeth brushed, and his face washed and his pajamas on, and he gets upset and gets my attention if I forget to put on his pajamas. Same in the morning if I take too long changing him into his play clothes.
I have 4 Chihuahua’s and everyone is always going on about how I should dress them up. I tell them they are dogs not Barbie dolls. The only clothing they have is a coat for when they have to go to the vets in winter. I live in Canada and it can get pretty cold so it’s a muct, but no way are any of them ever being dressed up like dolls.
i thinks its hard for the dog to scrach when it has an itch. so i think it would be pretty annoying for the dog
Only if your dog has very good fashion sense, and you are willing to wear the exact same outfit that the dog would be wearing. If you feel fine in public dressed like your dog, it’s not going to bother him to be dressed up in public.
I never liked that, but there are some hairless breeds who do get cold in some weather. The sled-dogs who run the Iditerod wear boots to protect their feet from the cold. Other then that, I think its pretty silly.
Dogs have a sense of Embarrasment when it comes to clothes.
They think it looks real mean. One reason is that i do have a dog myself and when ever i put this pink white spotty dress on she pulls it off. Thats her. If you feel free in buying her one. Go for it. I will promise you that it will im sure will cost you.
yeah, its ok to. especially when its cold. I have a boston terrier, and when it is cold I have a shirt to put on him
its up to you weather you want to dress your dog up. i only have a rain coat and a winter coat and a tee shirt for my dog so if she get cold or its raining then i don’t have to dry her off or take her to the vet if she gets sick.
I think it is fine as long as the dogs do not dislike the clothing. I put clothes on my bassets and they come running to put their clothes on. It keeps them warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Because they have black fir on their backs, we put light colored clothing on them when they are going to be out in the sun for a long time to help keep the sun from reflecting off of them. Also, how could you see three basset hound coming down the street in Hawaiian tank top and not smile?
i used to but my dog outgrew the one thing he could wear. and he only wore it like 2 times for like a minute. it was just for a picture here is the pic
If the dog wears the clothes well then don’t worry. You could let them pick out what they want to wear….
YES. When I was a little girl, my dog & clothes was my doll.
YES. Winter potty time. Indoor old dog with thin hair.
YES. Dog fashion models to place in advertisements.
NO. For just the heck of it.
