Dogs Clothes

I want your opinion on clothes for dogs and I don’t mean like a coat or boots for when it’s way cold. I mean clothes i.e tanks, tees,swimsuits, hoodies, coats, dresses, ect. Do you think it is silly or that it makes perfect sense to buy your dog clothes, and would or have you. Be honest I wanna know. Thanx.

I have a 15 pound Fox Terrier with a short coat, she is quite hard to put weight on and it is winter here. She is wearing a coat all the time and I get so many bad comments about putting clothes on a dog…I don’t agree with dressing a dog in clothes just for the fun of it but I am keeping clothes on her so she will be warm. I hate to see her shake and shiver and she will come running to put her coat on so I know she doen’t mind having it on. What do people think? Do your dogs wear a coat?

They already have their own clothes. They don’t need any more.

Imagine we are in the year 1100 for example. The dogs were all fine then weren’t they. They didn’t have coats then

I’ve recently begun to see dogs in strollers and in snugglys like the ones babies use. I’ve always known that people will buy things like coats and sweaters for their dogs when it’s cold but it seems like dog clothes are getting more and more expensive and less and less practical, like doggie tutus. Have you noticed this and what do you think?
