Dogs Clothes

I have a puppy that needs to start potty training. He is an 8 week old german shepherd, yeah I know he’s young, but I want to start early.
Does crate training work? My friend will let me borrow his, I just need to know if it will work. Or what is some other methods on potty training?
Any info would work great!

I live on the third floor of my apartment and i have a small weiner dog puppy. All i have is a balcony and I don’t know where or how I should get my dog to go potty somewhere else but in the apartment. I heard of crate training but im not sure how to do that or if anyone has any other suggestions please!

when will i be able to get him out of crate training ?

i have a 3 month old german shepherd and i got him on january 4, 2008 ….
so far i have been using crate training on him and its been going ok .
now my Q is how long does he need to stay inside of the crate and out side of the crate ……
o one more thing i feed him at 7:00 and how long does it take for him to go poop

Hi…I think i posted a question like this before but anyway here goes….
I have a german shepherd mix puppy. I got him about a week ago. he was a stray and i don’t know if he was abused or not but he was very very skinny.
We took him in and since he’s going to be a very large dog i would like to crate train him. (i bought this crate for my lab/dalmation and i only put him in there when i leave because he’s very distructive) When i put my puppy in there…i have a divider to make sure he only has enough space to turn around and lay down comfortably. He barks and whines and cries and i know they say to ignore it….but how can i when i have neighbors? I mean i don’t want to disturb anyone and i’m pretty sure they can hear him when he’s in there. It sounds so awful…he howls and cries and it sometimes sounds like someone is really abusing him. What should i do? LIke i said i don’t want to disturb my neighbors…thats all i’m concerned about *Sigh*….am i crate training him correct?
I put his food in there and he knocks it over…and i also put a bone in there for him…and…I put a radio in there for him because i heard that human voices can keep him company…i even tried putting a blanket over his crate because they said that it wouldn’t be so loud if i did that….

I have an 11 week old german shepherd and we started crate training her and she never went in her cage, she would wait until we took her out…Just recently we made her cage a little bigger and all of a sudden she started going in her cage? Should I make it smaller again so it only gives her room to stretch?
AH, thank you! Yeah she is able to walk around in it, so I am starting to agree with you. I think it needs to be a bit smaller.
